Trusting that God has a Plan for Me

Good morning, Jesus. I’m praying and trusting that God has a plan for me and my life.

A morning prayer for Jeremiah 29:11.

For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord,

“plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

Jesus, thank you for loving me enough to have the best plan for my life. Father, please forgive me for thinking that I know best and for walking my own way and for leaning into my own feelings.

God, I am struggling with how different my life looks from the plans I created for myself. Help me to surrender those thoughts and plans to you. Take those plans from my hands, so I can reach out and hold on to you, Jesus.

I know that your plans are far better than my own, but I need to KNOW that your plans are better than my own. I need to truly believe this. Help my unbelief! Father, help me to truly believe that you have a plan for this season of life.

Father, forgive me for accusing you of tossing me into a sea and abandoning me. I know that you desire to guide me through the storm, and it is when I guide myself and follow my own plans that I can feel like I am drowning.

God, help me to truly trust the hope and the future that you have for me.
